iPhone Photo Round Up
Here’s another edition of my iPhone photo round up! Here are random pics I took with my iPhone throughout the week.
Last weekend was the Texas PUA Summit and Adam was invited as the headline speaker! It was a pretty fun and informal event and it was held in the organizer’s backyard under some twinkle lights, around a fire pit where you could roast some hotdogs and s’mores. It’s nice to participate in fun local business events like that.
We got a package a few days ago (it’s a vanity table I’ve been wanting! I’ll post pics when it’s completed… Still need a chair and a mirror!) and my Onyx looooves big boxes. I was sitting on the couch doing work , then looked to the front door and saw that Ony had climbed the big, 5-foot box and was perched on top. She sat there for a few hours just watching me work.
One of the things that is huge in Austin are food carts. They are food trucks that travel around the city (some are stationary in food trailer parks) and have all sorts of differen cuisine from around the world… Indian food, African, Moroccan, desserts, you name it. This one was Mmmpanadas, a food cart that serves empanadas. They have meat ones, veggies, vegan with ‘chorizo’ tofu, etc. They were parked right outside our apartment the other night and it was delicious! That was our dinner. Yum.
We had a few meetings today and decided to schedule our 5 o’clock meeting during happy hour! We hung out on the patio of our favorite place, Paggi House, and spoke over delicious drinks and appetizers. Our friend Rachel ordered one of their specialty cocktails and it came with some grass as a garnish. I couldn’t not take a pic!
There’s our week in review via iPhone pics.
We leave for Vancouver tomorrow morning, so I won’t have access to my phone or social media. I’ll try to take a bunch of pics so I can post about it later!
Question: Do you mostly take pics with your smart phone, a digital camera, or an official SLR cam? Which do you think is the most convenient and best? Is it worth carrying around a big SLR cam to take good pics?

i pretty much only take pics with my SLR now, but there are definitely times where i leave it at home because i either don’t want to drag it around, or it’s slightly embarassing to pull out a huge camera, depending on the situation.
i still have my point and shoot, but i haven’t touched it in years. i used to switch between the two of them, but i can’t stand the lower quality pics now.
