All About the Details
This past weekend Adam and I were in Vegas running a workshop with our team. Vegas is always a crazy city that leads to fun stories but this time I decided to take some time to myself and visit the hotels I hadn’t been to before and enjoy the decor, designing and details that each hotel has that makes it unique. Every hotel is so different and HUGE so I spent about 8 hours one day just wandering from place to place enjoying everything. If you follow me on Twitter you might have even seen me playing #hideandtweet where I posted a picture and had people guess ‘Where in Vegas’ I was.
Here are the pictures of the beautiful detailing in different hotels! If you have your own personal favorite let me know. :)
Horned Frog statue at the airport! It’s tradition for me to take a picture there every time we go to Vegas.
The Shoppes at the Palazzo. This was a huge mechanical butterfly opening and closing its wings every few seconds
Blown glass ceiling at the Bellagio
Butterfly floor at the Encore right in front of XS nightclub
Red chandeliers in the casino of Encore
Cosmopolitian bar at the hotel reception
Cosmopolitian hallway with an old spin-dial telephone
Chandelier Bar at Cosmopolitian. It’s an actual 3-story bar INSIDE a chandelier made out of Swarovsky crystals
A restaurant in the new City Center
The new Cosmopolitian Hotel is insanely gorgeous and looks like an episode of Sex and the City threw up on it. It is all blinged out in Swarovsky crystals, sequins, rich velvets, silver and grey colors and beautiful lighting everywhere. It is one of my new favorite hotels and I would love to stay there in the future.
We don’t often get time to ourselves when we are traveling for work so I was really appreciative that I got a day to myself to wander around and do this. Maybe I need to take more time each week to stop and smell the roses.
